About Me

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with a specialty in cognitive behavioral therapy for a range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder and trauma.  I have over 10 years of clinical experience in hospitals and outpatient settings.  After earning my doctoral degree, I completed a two-year postdoctoral training fellowship in the treatment and phenomenology of serious mental illness.  I then worked as an attending psychologist at the New York State Psychiatric Institute where I provided psychological services to adults and adolescents, and conducted research in serious mental illness.  For six years, I also served as an Assistant Professor at Columbia University Medical Center where I supervised and trained psychology interns and postdoctoral fellows in cognitive behavioral therapy for depression, anxiety disorders and psychosis.
